  having had 3 family funerals in the last 4 years, i have dealt with the Freeman's a lot. They are kind and compassionate, and willing to go the extra mile to make a sad experience one that is memorable. They are the best funeral home in Shelbyville and Morristown, IN!

  The employees were very rude, I witnessed one literally yell at an older woman for having a water bottle even though there are no signs indicating they are not permitted. When the service was about to begin they didn't nicely ans respectfully inform people they said (yelling again) "Hey! You people need to be quiet now!" It's a funeral home, people are grieving. The level of rudeness and disrespect for grieving people was shocking.

  I would like to thank Mike, Lana, and his entire staff for helping my family get through our father's death. They took the time to make sure we thought through the process of planning the funeral and all of the details. No pushy sales pitches- truthful answers and guidance when needed. They went out of their way to see to details we had not considered. Their service did not end with the conclusion of the services. We can not say enough about the professional and caring help they provided us. Thank you again Freeman's!

  We recently attended a Funeral at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory. I was very impressed from start to finish! First impressions mean so much! The building is so impressive, stately and spotless! The Staff was welcoming and helpful from start to finish. Funerals can be very overwhelming. Their compassion and care was a comfort to me and my family. They were very helpful with small details, like finding us a close, clean and convenient place to stay! They were very detailed oriented and really helped us personalize the service for my Aunt. They had personal touches like a DVD of pictures and had her favorite cookies and cakes in the lounge! My personal favorite and lasting Memory will always be the horse drawn carriage to take her to her final resting place. Amazing.

  Mike and Lana Freeman make you feel like family, they stood by our sides during the entire process (before during and after) for my Mother's funeral. They welcome you with open hearts for any questions you may have and they make the time you spend with them very special. They also continued helping me personally with specialized jewelry that I'll treasure forever. It's hard to always express your appreciate in words, so I'll just say. . Thank you both so much!
